3. Indian Classical Music @ Chicago Cultural Center
(Friday, September 30)

Set under the Chicago Cultural Center’s Tiffany Dome, this is an Indian classical music showcase experience in a unique, all-night setting like they do in India, where artists are able to showcase rarely performed music and Ragas, which normally do not get featured at a typical Indian classical concert. Literally all night from 6pm – 8am. Free. Details here.

4. Apple Fest @ Lincoln Square
(Sat – Sun,  Oct 1 – 2)

Festival season is not over. Apple Fest is happening over two days this weekend and will feature artists, music, and all things apple. Bushels of apples, ciders, apple pie, apple donuts, apple butter…okay, you get it. 9 am – 6 pm each day. Details here.

5. Bloktoberfest @ Lo Rez Brewing
(Sat – Sun,  Oct 1 – 2)

This brewery in Pilsen is throwing an Oktoberfest block party. They’ve got an extensive line-up of local brewers, food vendors, artists and music. 4 – 10pm each day. Details here.
