Eight bars and restaurants along Division street are hosting a big early-week patio crawl. It’s from 6 – 9 pm and tickets are $35. You’ll get appetizers from each place and get to hang out on their patios. Details here.
2. Based on a True Story @ Howard Street Brewing

Based On A True Story is a storytelling event where you’ll hear fictional retellings of actual events. It’s hosted at this brewery in Rogers Park. From 7:3o – 9 pm. Details here.
3. Chicago History Podcast Trivia @ Begyle Brewing
(Thursday, May 25)
Tommy Henry, creator of the Chicago History Podcast, will host a special beer, booze, and bars-themed trivia night from 7-9pm. Papa’s Chicago will be onsite serving tacos at 5:30pm. Details here.
4. Festival Mole De Mayo 2022 @ Pilsen (Fri – Sun, May 26 – 28, Fri-Sun)
This is a three-day festival in Pilsen celebrating mole. There will be 3 stages of music, mole booths and other Pilsen food vendors, luca libre performances, art, and retailers. Suggested $5 donation. Details here.
5. Vegan Star Girl Market @ Rhine Hall

This distillery in West Town is hosting a vegan market featuring 19 different food vendors and artisans. From 3 – 7pm. Details here.
6. Promontory Point Day @ Promontory Point
(Sunday, May 28)
This is a big family-friendly event celebrating this wonderful park in Hyde Park. They’ve got a whole day of programming, including: painting a mural on the underpass leading to the park, guided park tours, free firewood at the firepits along the lake, and much more. From 9 am – 5 pm. Details here.
